WHS Robotics Program

Waiakea Robotics

WHS Foundation supports Waiakea High School Robotics. Waiakea Robotics gives high school students the opportunity to design and build cutting edge robots. They learn valuable engineering skills, and having fun doing it. The Waiakea Robotics Club participates in various robotic programs including: F.I.R.S.T. Robotics, VEX Robotics, Microbots, Underwater ROV, and Botball. Club students mentor students at Waiakea Intermediate, Waiakea Elementary, and Waiakea Waena Elementary. Waiakea Robotics' goal is to spread the innovation and fun of robotics to our community.

Celebrate My Drive was created by State Farm Insurance to help new drivers drife safely..  Remember, 2N2: 2 eyes on the road, 2 hands on the wheel!

- The Waiakea High School Foundation thanks Barry Taniguchi and KTA SuperStores for underwriting the costs of our 2013 fundraising efforts, including the WHS Robotics Soccer and Sumo Tournament on June 15.  Funds have been given to the WHS AVID program, which will continue to help selected WHS graduates go on to obtain a college education.  Funds were also allotted to the WHS Robotics Team, who sponsored the tournament.  Thank you to all who participated in the tournament and contributed monetarily to the Foundation!
